Sometimes, while reflecting upon life and its ups and downs, I realise that it all depends upon our state of mind and mindset and how we visualise life. Also, our opinions keep changing from day to day. When it is a not-so-good day, we feel that our glass of life is half-full or less. The next day, when things get better, the same glass of life seems to be filled. How ironic, but true? Does it not seem like an agitated child announces to the mother that she is the worst, and once the child settles down, the same parent becomes the best in the world?
Whatever the situation, we should always look at the positives in life and be thankful for what we have. Thankfulness is the ability to appreciate and express gratitude for every positive thing and experience in life. It involves recognising and acknowledging the good things we have and the kindness we receive from others.
Thankfulness, also called gratitude, is a positive emotion and attitude. It makes us acknowledge and appreciate the kindness, help, or gifts we have received from others or the positive aspects of our lives. It involves recognising and valuing the things we have rather than focusing on what we lack.
Gratitude can be expressed in various forms, such as saying "thank you" to someone who has helped you, writing a thank-you note, keeping a gratitude journal, or simply taking a moment to reflect on life.
Driven by the same emotions I put my feelings about thankfulness as:
Whenever you have good times in life, Whenever you achieve success in Life, Whenever you get a promotion, Whenever you get any recognition, Whenever there is any time of celebration, DO CELEBRATE. BUT DON’T FORGET … Acknowledge the pillars of your success…. Be grateful to Your Mentor, your Teacher, Your Parents, your Spouse, your Siblings, Your Friends, your Colleagues, your Support system. Thank them, Value them, and Be Grateful to them. LOOK AT THEIR BEAMING FACES Your Happiness will double up, Abundance will double up, AND THE BONDS OF LIFE Multiply. This is true Happiness and Success. Keep happy always, --Dr. Gurminder Rawal
