Demystifying fear!!
Fear is a normal human emotion that everyone experiences. It is a natural survival mechanism that is part of the nervous system and functions like an instinct. Fear can be beneficial when it helps you stay safe from danger. For example, if you come across a venomous snake in your garden, it is normal to feel afraid and quickly escape by closing the door. Nevertheless, fear can sometimes be harmful when it makes you overly cautious or prevents you from enjoying activities that you normally would. However, it is important to consider whether this caution is necessary or based on reality.
But is this caution always necessary? We have all heard about the word fear. It is a powerful and potentially harmful emotion that varies in meaning and significance for each individual. We make mental maps around those unseen things because most of them are not our own experiences but we have heard about them from others. Interestingly, the others may not have any exposure to those things either. However, this story and the human chain go on spreading such perceptions. How justified is it? It’s just your perception. Maybe it happens. Maybe it harms. It’s all an anticipation, but nothing happened in reality.
My question to all of us is, are all fears real?
Do all of them exist or are they just sensory perceptions?
Think about it!
P.S. I am an NLP Practitioner, there are techniques in it to overcome such perceptions. DM me or book a free call to know more.
